The PIRC is committed to ensuring that parents of preschoolers and school age children have all the tools and help they need to be ready to start school and to have success once in school.  Research shows that strong social and emotional skills and parent involvement in children’s education are the most important pieces in children’s success in school and in life.  Parents are the best teachers of social-emotional and early literacy skills.
